Default value for inspection characteristic in IP or routing

Hi Everyone,

So I have done a bit of research on this topic and found some good answers but nothing that is exactly what I'm looking for. Here is the scenario:

We have a value that is 10 and that value is the same let's say 95% of the time for inspection lots. We would like it to default to 10 in results recording and users only change it in instances where it isn't 10.

I know you can do copy inspection results functionality using customization, but that isn't necessarily what we want because if the last inspection lot the user input a 9, we wouldn't want that to pull in.

We don't necessarily need this to be a MIC, it could just be an inspection characteristic within an inspection plan or a routing. I read somewhere that you can do this if it is a manually entered inspection characteristic but didn't see an explanation of how.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
