SAP QM -

Dear QM Gurus,

I created a characteristic class as C2_C20 and it should have been assigned a characteristic number in the 2000 sequence but the number was assigned as 5306.

I archived and tried again.

I had to create another characteristic class C2C20 and it also did the same thing, it was assigned 5307, then 5308. 

Please clarify more on this.

How to check/assign the number assignment range for MICs in QM.
