Issue with inspection plan and MIC

Hi,

I am trying to create an inspection plan and attach inspection characteristic to it.

- Every time I am trying to assign an inspection characteristic, I am facing this warning message:

Sometimes I also get an error for the same inspection plan and MIC (this is erratic behavior by the system that it is sometimes error and sometimes warning) :

However in the QM settings for the plant - I have maintained that no version management is required for MICs:

And the MIC is released :

I am  not sure why system is giving me these messages..

- While checking the consistency I also get warning message that defects are not assigned whereas I have explicitly assigned defect codes to this MIC:

Any help will be highly appreciated.
