SAP QIM - Reference object search- Multiple selection

Within SAP Quality Issue Management, note 1951329 have been implemented which allows multiple values to be selected and returned to the SAP QIM UI element. This functionality works for all Reference object types in QIM (i.e. functional locations, equipment, material etc..). It how ever does not work for the Generic object type IAMGOJ GeneralObject.

We have created a custom generic object with a search help to return values (all acording to note1820834 Option B). Everything so far is working except the search help for this object does not allow multiple value selection.

Without creating a custom webdynpro application for the search. Should the Multiple value selection work for the General object type IAMGOJ.
