QM02 dumps because of ORAS status (maybe)

Hi

I have a notification that I can't save - every time the notification dumps.

I think the reason is that there is an order assigend to the notification, becuase I can see that there is a status ORAS in the notification.

My question is, where/how do I find the order, so I can complete that order and remove the ORAS status.

 

 

Few details of the dump:

 

Category               ABAP Programming Error

Runtime Errors         RAISE_EXCEPTION

ABAP Program           SAPLIQS1

Application Component  PM-WOC-MN

Notification QM order and GL account

Hi,

 

I know we can enter the Cost center and controlling area (in IMG  Account Assignment for QM Orders )

So while settlement QM order picks the cost center.

 

What if we need to settle QM orders against a GL account also ( and cost center ).

 

Please suggest,

Quality certificate for batch split in delivery

Hello,

 

My problem is when I have a batch split in my delivery, my certificate is only printed for the first.

In my example (see file 1 in attachement), I only have my quality certificate for the fist one but not for the second and I want the both.

 

I have to precise that myy certificate is automatically printed when I am doing the goods issue and I am using for my output type the standard printing programm RQCAAP00.

 

Do you think that I have to modify the standard printing programm to solve myy problem ?

Inspection type 0101 auto determination

Hello expert,

 

Could you help clarify the inspeciton type 0101 determination process?


From SAP help, it's determined by these setting:

 

Maintain Inspection Lot Origins and Assign Inspection Types

Status profile

Q-info

QM view in Material master

 

But as I check, I cann't find why inspeciton type 0101 was derermined when we post GR at the first time for a material, but not 01.

I also can't find any reletionship between inspection type 0101 and status 001 in status profile.

(Because as I test, the inspection type 0101 can be determined automatically when the status is 001 in status profile)

 

And how system determine task list usage 51/501, not 5?

 

Please help clarify the logic.

Inspection Point per sample

All,

 

The company I am working for would like to implement QM in production but with inspection type 04 with early lot creation instead inspection type 03. Also, they would like to use inspection points so that the can record user field information, like which machine the component was machined on.

 

So, I have now setup a inspection point 150 however I have an issue when I come to valuating the resulys, I get the message "You have not entered enough values for this attributive inspection".

 

I would like the inspection point to only propose one sample size to be inspected instead the sample size from the same procedure. I system to propose one inspection point per sample size. For example, if I am making a batch of 100 components and the sample procedure dictates that I need to inspect 5, it should create 5 inspection points with a sample of 1 to be inspected.

 

Can someone point me in the right direction?

First Article Inspection for Production

All What is the best way to setup a first article inspection (Model Inspection) and Normal inspection for a manufactured material? First article inspection only happens for a new material or when the material revision changes and the standard or normal inspection is your business as usual (day to day) inspection. Do I need two inspection plans? Or do I just need a MIC called FAI (First Article Inspection) that can be assigned to a DMR? Any pointers would appreciated . Thanks John

MIC with multiple result recording

Hi,

 

I have a scenario as following:

there is a Quantitative MIC with single result recording and upper and lower limit. User is recording 10 observations for this MIC.

Now the requirement is

1. User wants to define two upper and two lower limits for one MIC (i.e. LSL1=8, USL1=10  and  LSL2= 7 USL = 11)

2. there are 10 number of readings if two reading are out of specs (LSL1-USL1) then system checks if it exists between LSL2-USL2 then allow to add further 20 sample readings otherwise Reject the MIC

 

Now out of all 30 samples (10+ 20)  if 3 readings are out of specs (LSL1-USL1) MIC is considered as Accepted else it should be rejected.

 

Please let me know how to resolve this issue in SAP QM

Inspection lot number -PRUEFLOS

Operation Number -VORNR

 

I have to find quality notification number against which inspection lot number and inspection operation has been used.

 

Can anyone help me ?

Will system generate material document during relase of the inspection lot created during GR using 107 movement type

Hello,

 

we have a business requirement where the purchase orders that are sent out to vendors will be received at a third party vendor.

The third party vendor will perform the 107 posting at their location and if the material is a QM active then system would automatically create a Inspection lot. In order to release the inspection lot we will post the stock to GR blocked and release the LOT.

But during this step the system is not creating any material document of movement type 321.

 

As per my understanding this 321 movement type material document will be created when we post the stock from quality to Unrestricted.

 

But our case is when we release the Inspection lot that is created during 107 posting, system should create a material document or any reference document which can be sent to the third party vendor system for reference.

 

Can you please let me know if there is any way we could actually do this in standard SAP?

Change the inspection stock of Material xxxx in QM only - SAP

Hi all,

 

I have done GR for a PO and moved the material to QI stock (during GR, I have changed the stock type to QI manually)

 

Later I have activated inspection lot for that material in MM02.

 

Now I am not able to move the stock from QI to URU using MvT 321. I am getting this error message "Change the inspection stock of Material xxxx in QM only"

 

I have also tried GR cancellation (MvT 102), GR return (MvT 122) and also MvT 323 etc for all I am getting the same error message.

 

Anyone please help me how to overcome this error message.

Hi Gurus, I've a situation where the client requires to measure the concentration of gas cylinder against the standards that they purchase from the scientific institutes. The client has a limit tolerance of ± 2%compared to standard. This issue is although the limit tolerance stays fix, the concentration of standard could differ.


Do I need to create new inspection plan every time the concentration of the standard changes so I can assign new upper and lower limit to stay within the tolerance? Can I use tolerance key functionality to put a range of upper a lower limit with the same target value?

How to avoid the pop up 'Valuate the non-valuated QM Characteristics Manually?' during UD ?

Hello Friends

 

During result recording if the user leaves any characteristic (The MIC which is linked with a Class Characteristic ) blank , then during UD and stock posting system gives a pop-up message to Valuate Characteristic with an option to click Yes/No.

I have made a BDC program for UD and Stock posting.For the above pop-up message, the program stops there.

 

Therefore, my requirement is to avoid the above pop-up. Is there any such note available or we can avoid this through configuration.

"Order type does not exist"

Order type  is not defined.

 

Procedure

 

Select an existing order type with F4, or create order type .

How to correct the UD stock posting issues

Dear,

 

UD has been posted to an inspection lot but stock has not been updated to UNRES stock.

 

What could be the reason and how to correct this...

After Source Inspection 01 Inspection lot post to Un-restricted Use

Hi Experts,

 

My requirement is "After Source Inspection completed, when we are doing Goods Receipt, 01- Inspection lot should get created after MIGO but stock should go directly to Unrestricted.


SPRQ Status is not required in Inspection Lot.



Kindly suggest what settings will be required for this, do I need to activate any enhancement ?

Hello Experts,

 

Whenever I want to record the results for nonconforming units, auto valuation should happen.

 

I created 4 different MIC with same control indicator. DMR is assign at Header level of Plan and Sampling procedure with scheme assigned at operation level.


For first three characteristic it working fine. but for last MIC, its showing Accepted<->Rejected in specification. I dont why its showing this, as I have not maintained any where. I am little confused, why this is happening.


And asking me to enter the results as per sample size. Summarized results maintained in MIC.

Any QM SAP Mobility applications?

Are there any SAP Mobility applications that will process QM Inspections lots with results recordings and usage decisions?

 

In particular, we are implementing SAP Plant Maintenance and have inspection lots generated for Inspection type 14( plant Maintenence).

The lots get generated in conjunction with operations on a Maintenance Work Order that have inspection characteristics assigned to the operation?

SLED just monthe before from the manufacturing date

Hi  SAP User ,

 

 

We are changing SLED data of FERT material form Day 'D' to Month 'M'  .

 

Our requirement  , SLED will just before one month from  the date of manufacturing date /month .

 

 

But SAP calculating :-

 

Total shelf life in material master      = 12 month

 

Period indicator in material master    = M (month)

 

Manufacturing date given during MB31 say 10.04.2016

 

SLED calculating through SAP =  10.04.2016 + 12 month = 04/2017

 

But our requirement , it should be 03/2017 instead of 04/2017 ( Just one month before from the manufacturing date )

 

 

Please guide me how to resolve the issue .
