In MMBE, a material showing Stock in "Quality Inspection" from last fiscal year. We have to change material from Quality Inspection to Unrestricted Stock.
We are trying to do Transfer Posting through MB1B with 321 movement type....but system showing an error message "Change the inspection stock of material XXXXX in QM only".
Please guide, how to move the stock into Unrestricted Stock.
I have done all the relevant settings for REM in-process inspection.Generate the inspection lot manually through MFPR and also record the result recording for the inspection lot.
I just wanted to know what happen next to this inspection lot.I want that this inspection lot gets disappear from MFPR screen so that I can create another in-process inspection lot for the same versions. But if I try to create inspection lot system given me message "
So kindly explain the next process after result recording.In my scenario quality is inspected for every 4 hrs intervals.I would also like to know what is difference between Free inspection points generated lots and MFPR generated lots.

Hi,
I have a situation where i have 1000s' of orders which are TECO but not UD updated. I would like to update these in mass. I tried to use QA 40 but it does not update all of it. Because am able to see few TECO orders which are not UD updated in QA32 but these are not visible/updated by QA40.
My inspection type is 03.
The only i have found as of not is to go to QA 32, select and edit the UD one by one which is not possible for 1000s' of orders.
Can you suggest a solution please ?

Any one please suggest us to keep different entries in specifications for a particular product in Certificate of Analysis, Hence we are dealing with many customers to a particular product according to their mandatory specifications by separately. Whether can we able to do such things in SAP by keeping different specifications to customers and as well as internal in COA? which is important to us,

Hello..
DMR is assigned at the inspection plan level,and the necessary DMR has been maintained.Skip inspection lots are created as desired but the stock is moving to Quality we need the stock to be moved to unrestricted.Control insLot for the inspection type is at the 'Material Document Item' level.
Request your help please.

Inspection lot is not being created automatically when I releaseed a production order, even I have maintained 03 inspection type in material master, maintained BOM, routing for the matrial.

We have assigned 04 type Inspection for a material with the fields Insp with Task List , Automatic Assignment, and Check Chars unticked in QM view material master. Hence only usage decision is required for such inspection lots, no need to do Result recording.
The material is batch managed and confirmed through CO11/CO11N.
Inspection lot is generated with status as REL CALC SPRQ PAOR.
My query is how to avoid the inspection lot status PAOR.
Please note that the above inspection lot status is only coming in case of material without any Inspection plan or material where no inspection result recording is required.
I am facing the following Issue while Doing Usage Decision :
Because the inspection lots with status PAOR is creating problem while doing UD through BAPI_INSPLOT_SETUSAGEDECISION. We have developed a tool by using the above BAPI to carry out mass usage decision. But only in case of such lots with the status REL CALC SPRQ PAOR system is throwing error message:
Operation QM20 not available for this lot.
But usage decision for such lots can be done through QA32/QA16 .No issue comes in QA16 or QA32.
So please let us know is there any way to avoid the inspection lot status PAOR.

I have read through several SCN links to find out the settings required to stop the inspection lot generation during Delivery document (OBD) creation and goods receipt against of Inter company STO. Unfortunately I could not find the confirmed solution.
In case of Inspection lot not to be created during delivery (OBD) creation against of Purcahse Order, using Create Control Data in SD(i.e. Transaction QV51- Quality Info record in SD), we have chosen the setting "No inspection against of Delivery category in Customer specification tab for the required Customer, Sales Organization and Material combination and found to be working fine(i.e Inspection lots are not generated for that Customer)
In case of Inspection Lot not to be created during Goods Receipt against of OBD (inter company), We have tried maintaining the settings in Quality Info record (transaction code: QI01) "no inspection" in Inspection control Tab.Unfortunately when I make the GR, Inspection lot still getting generated.
We have tried with QM Procurement active Indicator and and assigning QM control key in material master QM view, but still not able to stop creating inspection lot.
Is there any other settings required to maintain to stop the Inspection lot generation for particular Vendor in case Inter company STO.

I am having issue with Material Specification for material which is used in two different plants. Scenario is as follows.
I have raw material in two different plants lets say plant 1000 and Plant 1100. When this raw material is received from vendor it undergoes Quality inspection.
In Plant 1000 we check pH of the material and in plant 1100 for the same material we check Viscosity that means we will check different MIC's in different plants. We are using Material specifications instead of Inspection Plans due to data maintenance issue
We created Material specification as follows.
Now when I create Inspection lot in the plant 1100 in the inspection lot both MIC's are coming instead of MIC of 1100 i.e. VISCOSIT as shown below. Requirement is corresponding plant MIC' should be selected in the Inspection lot in that Plant. How to do this.

Just wondering that whether you have come across following issue during this ( or I must have forgot something).
I am using new user fields in a new tab along with Coding ( calalog D ) ( screen area 031 ).
The issue is when I putting 031 and 091 together (in new tab) it doesn't save the codes/Description and the long text,
But it saves the data in the new user fields.
So I have to create separate tab for 031 and 091 screen area. It took sometime for me to figure out where the problem is!!
It is certainly not the end of the world.
2ndly I have not gone thru step5/6 as explained in your document.

I am looking for some documentation on inspection from PLM recipe. I found some files from help.sap and few threads from experts in this forum. But it would be great, if I could get some detailed links which I can use to understand more on it.
Seeking to understand how we can copy PLM recipe specification to MIC and use it for QM inspection. Is there anyway, we could use the same PLM classification as MIC class/ characteristic?

because of the difference between Base Unit of Measure and the unit of sample, can't use GR number to calculate the sample size,so I want a FM to calculate sample size base on a number given manually,or are there any sulotions? I don't want to change sample procedure every GR.

If one material is blocked due to Quality issue and QM dept already sent some "Non confirmation- NC" report to the concern dept. some lead time 15 days for internal NC response, and within this time, if QA dept not getting any response, that particular Lot need to lock in system automatically.
Can please tell me how system will lock the material automatically where we can maintain this lead time and how it trigger the lock system.

I have a batch that is exceeded shelf life expiration date. When i execute QA07 , batch is not transfer to blocked stock .
Stock is unrestricted usage.
Not in special stock type.
Storage location is not required Handling Unit.
Details : SLED is changed manually.
What can be reason of this issue ?

I have a requirement from the business to fetch all MIC's assigned to all routings within a particular plant. I tried fetching the data by creating a SQVIu using table - MAPL, PLPO and PLMK but the data for each plant is so huge that the report dumps out everytime I run it. Then I thought of taking the o/p only from PLMK and from a combination of MAPL/PLPO --> then do a vlookup for both the files to get the material number, routing operation details and the characteristics assigned to each operation but that looks like is not going to work as I can't find a common field to do a Vlookup. I am not sure if group no will yield correct results.
Please advice if you have came across a similar situation before.
