I am looking to have the operation number on the standard Qe51N selection screen as we are doing split process orders so want to key in the phase number so directly goes to that phase currently were using WorkCentre but this is not good enough.
Is there anyway to get the operation number which is in the dynamic selection screen to show on the standard selection screen?

Some days back, I had started a thread in which I asked about generation of PM/QM notification automatically from QE17, when the result of inspection is a failure.

Now, suddenly, while doing QE17, I am getting the following message and the process is no longer working as before.
In the control indicators for the MIC, the char is an optional characteristic, not required.
If I save it, then the defect recording also does not initiate.
Can anyone please help me as what might have gone wrong?
The problem is that it is a sandbox system and I am afraid that someone else might have tampered with some configuration because of which this thing is coming now. I need to fix this quickly and any help will be greatly appreciated.

In my system I found some notifications with delete KZLOESCH=X and some KZLOESCH=Nil , After set deletion flag and archive in notification I didn't get KZLOESCH=X. My question when and which program in sap update KZLOESCH=X in notification. I will appreciate for earlier response.

We wanted to create scenario wherein after process order release system will check that, if for the parent material Z3 inspection type (for in-process inspection of customer characteristics) is maintained or not?
If Z3 inspection type is maintained for the parent material then with respect to it's master data, inspection lot will be created and if Z3 is not maintained then standard inspection type 03 will be considered by the system.
We found some exits on forum to check whether this will be possible or not but no one applicable.
Is anybody has done such type of enhancement or know the exit or steps to achieve this requirement technically?

Hello experts,
I have a task to copy the inspection results, manually in QE51n and automatically in QA01.
The part with QE51n is working, but in QA01, when creating a new insp lot, the copy results methods are not triggered.
Is there a way to force this?
if it is not working in QA01, which transaction can I use for the automatic copy (test).

100 cartons are received at one location & every carton has unique batch no.
and user randomly picks 10 cartons and perform QC so how i can create a single inspection lot against multiple batches

Hello Experts,
I am working with follow up function while entering usage decision in Inspection lot.
My inspection lot is for Inspection/calibration of PM equipment. My follow up action contains the FM for status change of equipment. I have assigned this follow up action to all the codes of the selected set for my UD's (acceptance as well as rejection codes).
When I give UD as any of the rejection codes and save, the equipment status becomes NPRT in background. So far so good.
Now , my requirement is that if I do another calibration work order/Inspection lot, and this time if it passes, then system should remove the status NPRT.This is not happening. During saving of the QA11, the pop-up comes asking if the status should be changed. I enter accordingly but still the status does not change. The equipment still has NPRT on it.
What could be missing?
I know that I can remove the NPRT from the equipment master from IE02 manually, from the PRT data tab but that is not my client's requirement. Please advise.

We are facing product costing in a Pharma Industry.
Our client is requiring an integrate cost for Supply chain (MM-PM-PP-QM).
We have solved costing for MM, PM, PP modules, but for QM module we still can't understand QM orders functionallity.
Does anybody can explain QM order functionallity? Is it possible to include BOMs in QM orders? and if there is a confirmation for that Kind of orders?

Here with I am facing a issue at qm-sd integration where there customer returns are happening and that stock will come and sit in quality restricted stock and then I am trying to do the results recording it was not allowing me to do so.
As per the client requirement, we have assigned 653 movement type and usage as 06 and ZS for returns.
Inspection lot is getting generated, but unable to do the results recording and Usage Decision.
Required urgent inputs for this and immediate flash lights as well. (As per standard 655 & 5 usage) please do through a flash light.

I want to do the batch derivation at the time of batch to batch transfer.
But in standard SAP, there is no derivation event to start batch derivation at Batch to batch transfer.( There are events at UD, Release / GR of orders etc.)
Can you please let me know how to create new Custom event for batch derivation.
Also please let me know where and how we can create the logic which can be stored in the field " Exit1 and Exit2" in the condition records of sending or receiving batches.
In short I need to some documentation / guidance on
1. Customer's Own event creation for batch derivation
2. Significance of Fields, "Exit1 and Exit2" in condition records

I have one insp. type and when I select the ticked then only insp. lot is getting generated
and stock moving to quality otherwise not.
But there other materials with multiple insp. types there also I haven't ticked but it is working fine.
what is the difference between these two scenarios?

Are you aware why SAP don't transferred an inspection result to batch characteristics (classification) in case of order status is TECO?
If order status is REL then do transfer result but not in case of TECO or CLSD status. Can we change this SAP behavior?
Our requirement is result should get transferred to batch classification even order is TECO.

I am giving you one of typical issue what we are facing, let me explain we received 45 EA on 2015 unfortunately 5 was rejected raise the notification and done return to vendor through Usage decision screen. But issue is now when I look into stock overview that 5 EA is showing in Quality stock.When I am trying to run Program "ZQEVAC20" it is showing error message " Deficit of SL stock in quality inspection 7.00 EA.. let me know any guys face same issue how you guys proceed for this situation... advance I will appreciate any body respond proactively.

At initial screen of transaction code QA33 “Inspection Lot Selection” suitable input is inserted. Then at the following screen “Display data for inspection lot: Worklist for Inspection Lots” the “certificate” button is pressed for inspection lot with status that is not allowed for certificate printing.
At screen “Quality Certificate for the Inspection Lot”
The popup window “Status check error” appears with information about the printing certificate ( Detailed info: "Insp.lot/part.lot for certif." is not allowed ). Pressing the “close” or “cancel” button the window disappears.
The above window “Status check error” appears again, but this time if the “close” or “cancel” button is pressed “Status check error” will be replaced from the new window “Background Print Parameters”. If we continue and eventually send the program to background job this will run forever and we can only stop that by canceling the job. From the job log we can find that the program is trapped inside an endless loop giving the message "Insp.lot/part.lot for certif. is not allowed”.
This is a serious bug of the system which ends up with a endless loop at background consuming memory and prevent other applications from running.
I have already communicated with sap but they have answered the following message:
"If you want to prevent, that a user executes the process with an
inspection lot without UD, you can implement an additional check for
the status, which avoids user to continue the process."
Has anybody else found in the same situation but I don't think that solves the problem. Is anyone familiar with the above problem;
Is there a solution for preventing a user execute background Certificate printing with an inspection lot without UD?

I've a requirement to activate outbound delivery inspection for which I will activate inspection type 10. But the material is already activated with 02 Inspection type which is used for Goods issue inspection (261 Mvmt type) against production order, which is also creating inspection lot for delivery to goods issue against sales order (601 mvmt type). We cannot deactivate 02 as we need it for 261 mvmt. Due to this there is a conflict for Outbound delivery inspection. Any suggestions ?

I have a scenario, where business wants a prior IL for material being shipped to location 1 but when same material has to be shipped to location 2 the IL is not needed as this location(country) does not ask for inspected material.
Business is using using 08 type inspection lot. So how can this be driven...QM info record? How?

I want to post material from one HU storage location to another Non-HU managed storage, but system report error of QA495.
Change the inspection stock of material **** in QM only.
1. inpsction setup was actived for the material, inclucing HU inspection type and Non-HU inspection type.
2. The HU was new generated HU, no inspection lot exist for the HU.
3. When I post the HU number form one HU storage to another HU storage, no any error happened;but when the HU was post from HU storage location to a Non-HU storage location, the error message will be poped up.
4. I test with other material which also active inspeciton setup, the same error will happen.
5. When I post material between HU S/L with Q status and the S/L with unrestrict use status, it can work.
6. When I post material between Non HU S/L with Q status and the S/L with unrestict used staus, it can't work.
My question is why sap can accept to post from Hu S/L to HU S/L, but can't accept to post to Non-HU storage location.
Does it relevant with storage location setting?
If Yes, where can I change the setting in custmizing?
