Material Document updation issue

Dear All,

 

The issue is follows,

 

While doing GRN, inspection lot got created and the same could be cleared by the Quality team. While clearing the lot, Quality moves the stock to Return delivery and try to post the document. Here, Inspection lot got cleared whereas the stock posting didn't happen but the system reserves the material document and not posted it. So the lot status is SPST instead of SPCO.

 

But still the stock shows at quality end in the system. what to do for clearing the stock? Need your comments please.

Create inspection lot move data from mseg to qals

hello.

When SAP create inspection lot from MIGO,  I need to move mseg-ablad ( uploading point) to qals-yyfield.

 

In Migo we can have more than one pos, then system create differents inspection lot.

 

Is it possible ??? are there any user exit to do that ??? i see user migo's exist  and inspecion lot's create, but in both cases i don't see all data to read an and move it.

Validate/close Charact. by different user

hello.

 

Is it possible to manage if a user put result in differentes characterisict in an inpection lot, and one of them has a defect or values not ok... that himself can not to close (lock)  these characterisitic ???

Sampling Scheme

Gurus,

I have created a sampling scheme which works fine when the Goods receipt qty is exactly the sample size.The issue i face when the qty is higher than the sample size it is not working.

For example for sample size 280 i have given sample size as 32,when the receiving qty is 281 the sample size is not calculated,it is calculating the sample as 281 only instead of 50.

QM Automatic partners (SP Sold-to and SH Ship-to) copying to QM Notification

Dear Gurus,

 

I am creating Q1 notification, providing Delivery number (and / or Sales Document). Only Sold-to is copied automatically to partners.

I have added Ship-to to partners in Notification (as unique and mandatory).

 

In SPRO: In Partner functions, in Tab with Customer refence, I can add only one: Sold-to or Ship-to. Nevertheless, this value is alwyas copied only to Sold-to in Notification.

 

Could you please advise me, how I can copy Sold-to and Ship-to to QM notification?

Automatic Results Recording for Inspection Plan

I'm trying to activate automatic results recording, at the beginning I get this meassage: "In customizing for default value of inspection type(400) you have to activate the following check boxes, " check characteristics", "Inspection with task list" & "Automatic assignment", I've done that. Yet, it sill doesn't work and the lot status is "CRTD" however it should be updated to "REL" status.

Hi

 

I am currently going through the following message while assigning Inspection plan to inspection lot.

 

Internal number assignment for object QMERKRUECK (numbers are in critical area). Screen shot attached.

 

I checked in SNRO for the above object and found current NR status is 90132500 . Screen shots attached.

 

Now Please clarify me on the below points.

 

1-QMERKRUECK is Confirmation number of an inspection characteristic.That means more is the number of Insp characteristic in an insp lot, more will be the confirmation number , Am i right ?

 

2-What problem i am going to face when the number reaches the maximum value ie 99999999 ?  I guess the situation may be such worse that all inspection lots generates would be of CRTD status. Please correct me if i am wrong.

 

3- If its really critical then how to avoid this . If i would like to create new number range for the above object then how to do that as system does not allow alfa numeric number range .

 

I have already gone through the following links but still not getting the solution or not sure about the impact if i will follow the instructions as suggested by different experts.

inspection type 0130

Hi,

    Do we need to have a 0130 inspection type in a production order for an external operation if we already have inspection characterisitics to this operation work center (and a control key which is inspection relevant and is marked as external processed) ? Cant we just have the 03 assigned to the material and track all production order inspection (inhouse as well as subcontracting) in a single 03 inspection lot rather than having a 03 and a 0130 inspection lot for the production order.

Iine item Pending in QA32 , after TF with 321 Mtype

Dear Experts,

 

My user  moved the stock by using 321 Mtype. without UD.

Now the Problem is line item is still showing in QA32 , ( stock moved Unrestricted)

 

 

how to clear this line Item ?

Sales order Popup screen not getting for Copy of Q1 Notification

Hi All,

     We have copied the Q1 notification to ZQ1, we maintain all customization settings except action box.

While creating the ZQ1 notification not getting Sales order item & Delivery item popup screen in initial like Q1.

I have copied all the settings from Q1, Kindly help me to get Sales order item & Delivery item popup screen.

Inspection-Point Valuation Mode on QM operation

Hi Guys,

 

In SAP standard the system defaults with the setting 2. Valuation. I would like to change this setting so it defaults with 3. Automatic Valuation ....., by doing so I avoid changing this setting each time I create an inspection plan. Does anybody know where I can change this setting and if its possible to do so.

 

Note: I want to get rid of this overall valuation screen which pops up once my inspection is done.

Use QM to Control of customer supplied product

Hi All,

 

How can i implement QM to Control of customer supplied product without using QM in Procurement.

Because in my scenario will have HQ and Plant.

 

The QM is only carry out in the plant but if i activate QM in Procurement ,

when GR of the Raw Material in HQ need carry out the Inspection.

 

My question : - Can i GR the raw material from the supplier , transfer the stock to the plant and carry out the inspection after my transfer ?

 

Hope this will not be category as General Question By Admin.

usage decision vs result recording.

Hi All Guru,

 

I am new in QM , was MM & PP support. I am confused here about the usage decision vs result recording.

I do understand in QM there's inspection lot , in order to release the inspection lot , i should released the UD.

 

So what's the different between this both ?

Can i have inspection lot without result recording ?

Or can i have inspection lot without UD ?


Please help to clarify my confuse.

How can we make Insp. Lot Origin Stock Relevant

Hi SAP ians,

 

Can we make the inspection lots stock relevant generated thru inspection lot origin '06'.

 

Or Is there possibility to route the Sales returns thru 'Quality Stock'??

 

The user wants the sales return first come to Quality Stock , Than QC person should post it to Unrestricted or Block stock etc. as per findings.

 

 

Please revert with your valuable suggestions.

Restriction of 02 inspection only for movement type 201

Hi All,

 

Is there any possibility to generate/restrict goods issue inspection lot only for Movement type 201 i.e. Goods issue to cost center?

 

My requirement regarding Concrete Blocks inspection. Actually the process is once after completion of production of blocks in No's (UOM).Some Quantity like 10 No's will  send for testing to Quality Lab (Internal Lab). This quantity will be issued to cost center (201), since it will be Sample usage for inspection and it needs to be consumed from the Stock.

 

So, we have planned to give goods issue inspection and activated 02 inspection type in Material master,whenever it is issued by 201 movement type inspection lot getting generated and it is working as per requirement. But the problem with other movement types related to Transfer postings and Goods issues (301, 601, 351 etc) for this Movement types inspection lot are getting generated.

 

I have found solution that if we deactivate quality in Configuration for remaining movement types as per requirement it will work. But deactivating quality is not correct as per my knowledge for all the Movement types related to issues.

 

Please advice if any other solution is their to fulfill the above requirement.

QGP1 - Max Value

I am trying to get the max and min value to pull into the QGP1 report for a Quantitative characteristic but so far no luck they are staying blank.You can find them in se16n table QARS or QAMS and the actual field is a structure QGMK MAXWERT. I have tried in results recording to calculate statistical moments to see if this will pull it through but this field is greyed out. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

warning message instead of error message during PO creation in QM in procurement

Hi,

I activated QM procurement for a material and put a control key with delivery release, certificate required and invoice block....Now for that material, vendor and plant combination created QM info record and put some release qty...Now after the release qty is reached then when I am making next Purchase Order system is throwing warning message instead of error message and allowing me to create PO...where I need to convert the warning message to error message...

Function group BUS1001 does not exist

Hi Guys,

I have SAP QIM system which is built on NetWeaver Stack. It pulls all the data from another ECC system.

I am facing an issue while doing F4 on the field of Material. Ideally it should pull all the values there in E60 System but it is giving me an error

"Function group BUS1001 does not exist".

 

Can someone help me with this?SAP QIM.PNG

Notification User Status

Hi,

 

I had created the notification report, but in that report i fail to capture the user status Long text, The long text is not visible in report,can any one tell from which table we can captur the long text of user status.
