I have one inspection lot with status (UD,ICCO,SPCO,QLCH). For this inspection lot Usage Decision has not been given but I am not able to do UD or stock posting since the status is (UD - UD has been already given, SPCO - Stock posting completed) and stock is blocked in Quality Inspection.
Kindly help me.

We're facing troubles in calculating inspection stock due to two qa lots with system status "UD ICCO SPRQ STUP".
UDs are reversed for both lots (using ZQMB, sap note: 175842) but status says SPRQ (stock posting required) and the lot quantities are shown added in MMBE report.
Please help me to change/fix system status for both lots.

In my development server i could not able to find code group, defect location and description (screen shot enclosed) but when i activate notification it is appearing. But in our quality server it is appearing. Kindly let me know what setting is required to get these fields during result recording.

I try to implement sampling plans but I do not know how to proceed. I know the existance of some transactions QDV,QDP, QDR, QDL but I do not know how they are link together.
I am going to explain you what I want to do:
I want to run dynamic inspections thanks to dynamics rules and I want to manage these inspections directly through the task list of my product with characteristic inspection. Dynamics rules will include a standard inspection and reduce inspections.
I have in mind to detail every characteristic inspected of my article and attached to them a dynamic rule. This kind of dynamic inspection has to be link with the ISO 2859 (sampling size rule) thanks to the transaction QDP.
The question is, What are exactly the transactions to use and in which order? What is the strategy to adopt?
How all these transactions are link together (specific transaction...)? How can we implement it in the task list (need a control chart?)?

The inspection characteristics are assigned to certificate template.
The certificate can be displayed.
Is there a way to display the histogramto acharacteristic in the certificate?
In Transaction QE51N I can showed the histogram to the characteristic.
Abouta solutionI wouldbe really happy!

I have created a production order of a material and its Inspection lot is automatically created but the inspection lot created does'not have sample size from the stock as a result I am unable to perform result recording of a inspection lot.
Please correct me if i am wrong.

Now I want to copy the Results with validations from Inspection Lot 05000000731 - GSM0123 - AA123456 to Inspection Lot 10000019768 - GSM0123 - AA123456 automatically.

We can create Inspection lot in the system for the GRN and then post the stocks to Unrestricted when Quality department clears the stocks.
Transaction QA32 can be used to post the stocks in Unrestricted Stock Type. This is one step transaction
We have a scenario where in specifications of the goods received will be cleared by two departments 1. quality dept and 2 also the user department which has ordered the stocks.
So, we want to post the Inspection Lot to Unrestricted Stock Type in Two steps.
Kindly suggest the solution to meet the requirement.

We have the following scenario with QM and EWM Integration , So could you pleas let me know for any suggestions
1. Create two materials for ex. 259 and 581 with same vendor with control key Z100
2. Create a purchase order for both the materials 259 and 581 and create the inbound delivery for the same so that It passes to EWM…mean while the vendor loses license for one material i.e. 259
3. Go to QI02 (T Code) change info record for 259 material and make it as total block
4. Now the EWM shouldn’t post the document and it should give the error for quality
5. Second material 581 should get posted without quality reasons

Expert opinion is needed to have this issue fixed.
Issue:When a new Process Order is created it automatically creates in storage location A. There are times when a process order needs to be created into another storage location B. When the Process Order is created and then is changed from A to B it will create two inspection lots for one batch, one for each storage location. From the plant perspective they only need one Inspection lot as they will not create two set of samples for testing since it is the same batch it just went into a different storage location then it was originally created for. Is there a way to change SAP so that it only creates one Inspection lot per batch.

We had different scenarios with same Batch
SCENARIO #1: Sloc is changed to B prior to Release, in CRTD status of order Sloc was A
So there are 2 Insp. Lot created one for A & another for B after GR in Sloc B
SCENARIO #2: Sloc is changed to B after Release
IL is created after Release of order with Sloc A, after changing Sloc B in process order and performing GR, new IL is created for Sloc B
Business scenario is certain times of the year where one creates a PO with one Sloc and then it needs to be GR into a different Sloc.
They are generating a lot of IL’s that are not used and it seems like every year they need to get UD’s made on IL’s for finance to close out the year which is cumbersome.
Please suggest way out, objective is one process should have one IL per Batch irrespective of Sloc

We have an existing MIC, can we change from existing Quantitative based MIC to one which can record Alpha numeric value or new MIC needs to be created?
Kindly suggest & how to perform result recording & Valuation / UD?

To fax COA, output type in delivery is not picking up fax number from customer or from partner function.
Condition records are maintained for partner function ship to party and condition records and output determination procedure is also assigned.
Can anyone guide what is missing to pick up fax number from partner function ship to party or sold to party?

Hi QM gurus,
I am working on defects recording..created a MIC and activated the indicator Defects Recording in control indicators.. and in the catalogs assigned the defect type and Selected set/Code group set ...
Then created a inspection plan for material and assigned the above MIC...then created a inspection lot for this material manually and specification limits are like 1 to 10 mm and I entered value as 12 mm in RR it is showing reject as shown below..
Once I save system automatically creating a quality notification as I assigned notification type to inspection type in SPRO.. that is fine.. but i am not getting below screen automatically to enter the defect details...
What settings I need to do for this..plz help me out...

I have created single inspection plan for many existing raw materials. Now it has been found that each raw material have different revision level as well as valid from date.
My inspection plan is created on 02.07.2014 and each raw material has different revision level with valid from date which is also very old (like 11.03.2012 for revision level 09).
My Requirement is: how to correct my inspection plan?, so that it will work for each assigned raw material and there will not be any material revision level wise problem created for the inspection lot so that my inspection lot should be created in REL status in QA32 transaction i.e. inspection lot is assigned automatically as per standard SAP functionality.

Dear All,
We are creating Quality Notification in SAP for Vendor. I have Two requirements
1.We have linked this with Mail flow to Vendor. Can you tell me how we can attach any Image say for defect which needs to be shown to Vendor.
2.We attach 8D Report to this Notification .Now a person at Central level wants to check if 8 D report is attached to it or.Is there any possibilty in QM10 or some other report where we can see in mass if Attachment is there or not.We not want to go to QM03 Notifiaction wise.

A material is having the early inspection lot -04 type..... now the status of the inspection lot is UD ICCO SPRQ CLAS PRII PRSI STUP.
when i try to close the Process order for this material, getting error as
SAP help is:
Inspection type 04
The inspection lot must have the status 'Stock Postings Completed' or must have been cancelled.
Early inspection lot of inspection type 04
The inspection lot must have the status 'Stock Postings Completed' or must have been cancelled. If these two preconditions are not satisfied, the inspection lot must have the status 'Usage Decision Made' and the status PAKO (All Inspections Completed) must be active.
As per my understanding the status "ICCO" and "PAKO" are same- All inspections completed.
the inspection lot is having staus both UD and PAKO.
Why the order is not able to close.......?
