I have created a production order of a material and its Inspection lot is automatically created but the inspection lot created does'not have sample size from the stock as a result I am unable to perform result recording of a inspection lot.
Please correct me if i am wrong.

Hi,
During MFBF, the Inspection Plan Group Counter 1 gets attached to the Inspection Lot that gets created. I want Inspection Plan Group Counter 2 to be attached. Both have the same Usage ,Status, Lot size, valid dates . Is this possible?

Dear SAP QM Experts.,
I had to reverse 4 Migo documents.
1 was partial & 3 was full.
I did the Lot cancellation brought Stock to INQUALITY INSPECTION.
No Migo was not getting cancel & given error to it by QM process.
from QA32 , batchwise - > UD - > returned to vendor.
73 batchwise return to vendor was performed.
Now 73 doc generated & user is not ready to create single invoices.
is there a way out to club batchwise reverse stock in one invoice.

Hi All,
I am using T-Code QE03 to view Inspection Lot Data for some inspection characteristics. I want to download the results/data into Excel for analysis.
Right now I am viewing the "Results History" then using F9 to export. The Eval. Method is "SAP_Excel," and I start the evaluation.
Here's where it gets odd - it exports the files OK, but at the end an error message in SAP appears that says "An error occurred when file XYZ.xls was transferred." Hitting the Help button just pops up "Message no. Q4111."
Why does this error pop up, each time? Any way to remove it/resolve the error?

While creating sampling procedure, If we select 100% sampling, Ideally the RM lot coming, would be very very small, Correct?
Or
Please explain, when to select appropriate type of sampling vis-a-vis type or quantity of Material in question?

Dear Experts,
When i was assigning codes in QS51, i found that when catalog type 2 is selected, system was throwing me error "Selected Sets are not defined for this catalog type"
So i went to QS22 for adding one more catalog (in this case catalog 2). I got one more error "No Catalog entry was selected".
Let me know what should i do to have the catalog set ( No 2) in QS22 and ultimately in QS51?

Dear all,
We have a requirement to allow business to find batch of material having pass certain characteristics of QM usage decision (example, some particle component percentage for a feature of the product).
I know there is a way to do this in standard SAP between batch determination and QM inspection characteristic, but I don’t know how to setup this in SPRO.
Can you show me the step-by-step to setup such feature into the SAP system?

It’s really been a long time since SAP PRESS, publisher of SAP books, has come up with a new Quality Management (QM) title in its offering!
I often get feedback that the current QM title (book) does not cover the industry-relevant topics in sufficient details. Have you also faced same or similar issue of not finding any authoritative and expert-level QM book that can help you or your company during SAP ERP QM components implementation?
If SAP PRESS is to offer a new QM title (book) today, which topics would you like to see covered? Should it be more focused toward covering end-to-end business processes and business scenarios including QM integration with other SAP components such as MM, PP, SD etc.? Or should be more of a configuration guide? If both, then what percentage should it cover business scenarios and how much coverage should it accord to configuration part? My take on this is that the new QM title should cover about 85% business processes (including cross-modular) and about 15% configuration details.
Let us have an open discussion on this topic and in this blog post so that we can put forward our suggestions to SAP PRESS. As I am the author of the SAP PRESS book “Production Planning and Control with SAP ERP”, I undertake to communicate all relevant feedback/input directly to SAP PRESS.
I look forward to your thoughts and topics that SAP PRESS should cover in its next QM title (book).

Dear QM experts,
I want to post the stock from "unrestricted usage" to "Quality inspection" stock. I am receiving the error while doing 322 mvt and 349 mvt as "Changequantity posting through QM only" . In material master the valid inspection type is activated.So i am unable to move the stock from "unrestricted usage" to "Quality inspection" stock through 322 mvt and also by using the 2 step process 344 mvt and 349 mvt. Is there any other method by moving the stock from "unrestricted usage" to "Quality inspection" stock without deactivating the inspection type from material master?

I have the following scenario during goods receipt quality control.
One of he characteristics in my quality plan is "Dimensional control", which is quantitative.
Within this regard, I have to measure dimensions of specific sections on the component.
At each sample, I have to measure all these sections. However, I can only measure as the number of samples.
Any advise, how shall I set the quality plan?

The changes are not reflected in MM04(Display changes for material)
Where I can see the change details?(Date/Time/User made the changes)

Hi friends,
I have to Physical inventory for QM stock , which is 2008 old stock, so we are unable to move unrestricted stock for below reason
1, stock is old (2008,2009 year, error message is shown deficit stock ).
2, Batch code is archived.
3 I have created new batch manually for the particular batch ,but still deficit stock error has shown.
4, Is this correct to make inventory count for this QM stock.
To tell me how to make inventory count for IS Retails SAP.
There is no option available for the t.code Mio1 for making QM stock inventory stock,kindly help me how to solve the above issue.
