I am facing a problem while creating notification. I have one lot of 01 inspection type(which is created after GRN) to which F2 notification type is attached. When i am trying to create notification against that lot, system is not fetching data in Reference Object Tab i.e. Material number, Plant, Material Doc, etc,.
Please give me some solution on this.

As part of SAP QM Implementation in our Chemical Manufacturing Company, we produce BULK Chemicals and send them to customer in various PACKAGING items like in Tanks, Tots, Zip Slip etc. We do 100% inspection for BULK s and record result , but for PACKAGING we do partial inspection, but do not do any result recording in current system (and wont do in SAP) but refer to corresponding BULK batch inspection result.The BULK s and PACKAGING s are batch managed and produced through existing SAP Process Orders.
Scenario 1: When we send BULKs in Tank Wagon to customer we intend to print COAs from outbound delivery and for which I have already tested the process using relevant data and works fine. In this case I used "Result Origin" as 01 (Inspection result) and "Insp.Spec.Origin" as 01 (Inspection Specification for the QM) for the MICs assigned in the certificate profile and linked to that product.
Scenario 2: When we send PACKAGINGs to customer using delivery, we intend to print the result from corresponding BULK batch relevant parameter/characteristics in COA, through custom "Result Orgin" Z1 copy of 01 and "Insp.Spec. Origin" as 01, and planning to write one custom function module (copy of 01) to be used in Z1 . This custom function module will be used to find the corresponding BULK batch used in the production of PACKAGING product through material document 261 movement in process order and then to find the corresponding inspection lot for the issued BULK batch to fetch the result to print in the COA for those characteristics (MIC) in certificate profile for which the Result Orgin maintained as Z1.
Does anyone worked previously any similar cases described in Scenario 2 above to provide some input or any better suggestions to achieve this? Do I need to use 03 inspection origin instead of 01 ? We have not yet started the enhancement and not sure of the outcome, so any input from your side will be helpful.

What are the differences between ENTSTEZEIT and ERSTELZEIT in table QALS? They both mean "lot created at" but have different values, in my system ERSTELZEIT is 6 hours larger than ENTSTEZEIT. If I want to see at what time the Inspection lot was created, which field should I chose?

Hi ,
Under inspection method creation. I would like to create a list of instruments that need to be used during that particular inspection. I see an option called as classification(never used that though). Could anybody guide as to how can I add the list of instruments under inspection method and what the difference is between using document and classification in QS31(so that I can be sure that my present understanding is wrong/correct).
If creating a class under classification is the solution, then where can I create them.

We generate a skip inspection lot (origine type 10 ), before making the UD we are able to display the lot in the QA33 (SKIP…..) in system status but once we made the UD we are not able to know if the lot is SKIPPED or NOT SKIPPED in the QA33 we get only ( UD ICCO STUP) .
How can I proceed to get the status SKIP after the UD in QA33 ? or how can I get the list of the Skip lot ?

I found in the Results Recording screen there are different views existing, basically "General", "Summarized", "Indicator", and for qualitative MIC there is "Unit to be Inspected" view. Can anyone explain me in detail what are they used for? In which view should the results be entered?

In the inspection plan I have maintained target value 20, lower limit 19 and upper limit 21 for one MIC which has single recording. When I do results recording for the MIC, I entered value 18, 20, 20, 20, 21, 18 was rejected automatically with a defect class Major defect A. Where is the default defect class from? If I want to enter a different one, how to change it?
The only place I can imagine is the configuration of Catalog 9 Defect Class in which defect class is assigned to each Code, but in my case no Code was selected.
Please help.

Hi Experts,
Business wants to create source inspection lot well in advance before 365 days of delivery date of purchase order. this lot is required to record results.
In SAP, transaction code QA51 allows only two digit characters for 'number of days for opening period' so system is not creating inspection lot for more than 99 days delivery date from current date.

We are working on an enhancement to the QN transaction, where we have a custom sub-screen and a partner field (2 fields for Internal User for Approvals). In addition, we have the partners tab on one of the standard screens. We are having a hard time making sure the custom field and the field on the Partners tab sync when one or the other is changed.
Wanted to check is someone has implemented something similar and faced as issue like this

i have made the setting for multiple specification.
my specification range for india is 1 to 5 and for germany 6 t 10 for a specific MIC
now i record result say 6 my requirement is when i put this value in actual field and valuate the same in multiple specification tab system
must show red light in india and green light in germany.
presently i have to do it by manually by accept/reject selection.
please guide

I am doing Movt Type 301 Plant to Plant Stock transfer for unrestricted stock in one plant to another
The materials has QM activated with 08 inspection Type Active. Control of IL is such that only one IL gets created for plant/sloc/batch
After doing the first posting, I have done UD for the IL and posted stock to unrestricted. Then I tried to do multiple postngs to same sloc/batch
For the subsequent postings, for some materials the stock gets posted to quality and for some it gets posted to unrestricted. What should be the normal behaviour

I have done GRN for a material during which there was no quality stock because it is supplied by other plant.Now i want to reverse the GRN the system is prompting a message that
Deficit of SL Stck.in qual.insp
I tried moving the material from Unrestricted to Quality by creating a Inps lot using QA01, the material is not moving to Quality inspection though Inspection lot is being created.
How to reverse the GRN?
UD for IL has been done and stock posted. Is there any way to move quality stock to unrestricted without de-activating Insp. Type 08 in Material Master.

I have setup the following configuration so that when a defect is created for type 89 Inspection lot, it should create a notification and sent that notification to the sbwp Inbox of certain user. But some how I'm not able to get that work item to my sbwp inbox. Please let me know if I'm missing anything.
Assigned notification type F2 to category O2 with catalog profile 000000001, origin: compalint against vendor, updated group stats:33
For 89 inspection type i have selected F2 type notificaiton in Inspection type config and tick 1 quality notification for inspection lot
For catalog profile 000000001 assigned catalog 9 defect types
As shown in the attachment, assigned a agent User:SAPUSER to the WS 00200081.
As shown in the attachment assigned the event linkage triggering events,
when a defect has occured at the time of results recording, a notification is created, But if i got sbwp I dont see a work item over there.
Please let me know if i missing any config.
My plan is to, after I receive the workflow item, I want to redirect that "notification created" work item to email id through auto forwarding option in sbwp .

In MMBE when check the Batch Classification of individual batch (Menu selecting by right clicking on batch), System shows QA Results.
But in one plant system does not shows QA analysis.
