Hello Experts, Please help me to find the solution to restrict Material transfer posting “Directly from Block to Unrestricted Stock” Case – At the time of Inspection lot Usage decision (QA32), stock moved to “Block Stock”, but stock can be move directly to “Unrestricted stock” using the movement type “343” Here, Business wants system should NOT allowed moving “Block Stock” directly to “Unrestricted Stock” Solution which I have proposed is to remove the authorization of mvt 343. Please suggest any other work around as business can’t remove mvt type authorization as this will help them to move other Non – Inspected material stock from Block to Unrestricted. Plant Specific "Selected Set" as UD - QA32
Hello Experts, Please help me to find the correct method to assigning Plant Specific UD Case – In transaction QA32 system is showing all Non relevant UD code, which leads to increase confusion for End user. Configuration Setting I have done & tested also are - Using Transaction QS51 I have assigned Plant specific “Selected Set” and deleted Non relevant Selected sets. Also, I have assigned the same “Selected Set” in Plant-Dependent QM Settings --> Result recording --> Proposal for inspection point valuation. But still all the UD codes are coming in QA32. Please help find the correct settings, Thanks in advance!!

Hello QM Superiors,
I have some queries regarding QM procedures,
For inspecting material with material specification, we need to perform these transaction:
MM01, QS21, QS61, QA01, QA32.. is the sequence is right..?
If the sequence is right, then what is the use of QS41 and QS51 in material specification.
Please clear my doubt and elaborate the same. Thanks in advance

Issue related to inspection lot created with inspection type 08FG
Hi QM Gurus,
Please help me for one issue. One inspection lot created with 08 FG inspection type . The inspection lot status is now CRTD SPRQ status. For which system is not allowing to do the UD and stock posting for this lot. As 08FG inspection type is - Stock transfer without task list we can't assign inspection plan for this lot. How the status of inspection lot will convert to "REL " status. Please help.

Error in BAPI used for MIC creation
Hi Everyone,
I am trying to use bapi for MIC creation in SAP QM.
BAPI_QPMK_SAVEREPLICA
1. I am trying to create a MIC and getting an error message 671 asking " Enter a lower specific limit". This is despite the fact I am using
control indicator for qualititative characteristic. the string used for control indicators used is "X = X X XX X ".
2. I don t see a field to give the selected set or codegroup for qualitative MIC.
If anyone knows the answer to above questions or has an excel used for using this BAPI, pls forward.

QM posting is pending for lot
Hi QM consultants,
An error message pops up showing "QM posting is pending for lot" while doing MIRO. But the Usage decision is made and there is no stock pending in Quality Inspection. Kindly tell me what else I have to do for Invoice posting without this error.

Digital Signature in In-Process Inspection
Hi,
I am using QM Authorization group in QM view in material msater for Digital signature for -Result recording, Sample Confirmation and UD.
My requirement is for for FERT and HALB materials when 04 and 03 series inspection lots are created I want Digital Signature for 04 lots but don't want Digital Signature for 03 lots (In-Process Inspection).
Is there any solution to achieve this?

How to change field 'Status' on Inspection Plan after set this IP on REVD
Hi,
I have problem with change status after REVD action.
I create Engineering Change Order.
In this change order I have two 'Objects' - ObjectType - 'InspPlan'.
This two InspectionPlans have now status QM1 (Draft)
In - Object Managment i set for Inspection Plan 'System Status' on CCOF and in 'User Status' on REVD.
After that i would like to change status for this Inspection Plan from QM1 to QM4 (Released)
...here is the problem. To achieve this I use Object Event. I handle appropriate event and try
start Batch Input but I get ERROR - "System status: the ECO is already completed"
Any idea how to resolve this?

Minus Quality stock after UD
Hello,
When I am doing UD (Mvt 321 ) from quality to unrestricted stock for full quantity I am getting the minus stock in quality inspection stock and duble value in unrestricted use for example
Before UD
Quality stock 5 PC
After UD
Quality – 5PC
Unrestricted 10 PC
Could you please advise? I don't want minus stock on quality use after UD.

Mass update of the MIC's
Hi Friends,
I have a requirement to update Tolerance in MIC to be updated with the Upper Limit and Lower Limit based on the Target Value . Do we have any best way to handle it ?.
Actual requirement is business is expecting to change the target values for all MIC's in every quarter using engineering work bench .Is it possible to do this ?.
What is the use of tolerance Key ?.

To new material batch in QA32
Dear All,
Need your help regarding quantity posting in to new material through QA32.
When i am posting the quantity in to new material multiple times (Once saved and again posting in to new material) system creates new batch first time only hence further posting quantity in to new material is getting saved in same batch.
I need new batch at each posting of to new material.
Please advise to make it success.

Archiving process for quality inspection lot

I am trying to do the archiving process for the inspection lot, here the inspection lot status was :UD ICCO SPCO STUP
so while doing the archiving process through QM_CONTROL object i am not getting any archiving selection in the delete program
please guide me where i have done the mistake

How to configure Content Repository for archiving the quality inspection lots through QM_CONTROL

By mistake user has cleared the inspection lots, now we want to delete that inspection lot from the data base. like this we have 20 inspection lots, so as i understand from SDN that can be possible through archiving process
here i am not aware of the archiving process but i learnt the procedure by reading the documents, But my concern is what are the CUSTOMIZING settings i need to do ?
how to configure the content repository ? please guide me any document will be appreciative

Issue with inspection type-QM
Hi,
Based on business requirement I have created a new inspection type with 08 inspection lot origin, let say 08B for stock transfer from one plant to another plant. We have another inspection type with same inspection lot origin, say for ex.08A.
Changes moved into development client, I followed below steps for stock transfer,
08B was assigned and activated in quality view of the material master.
Transfer posting done hence inspection lot was created with same inspection type, so working fine in development client.
The same TR moved to quality client, transfer posting done but getting another inspection type 08A ( i did not assigned the inspection type in the material master even system giving 08A inspection type inspection type in place of 08B)
I have verified configuration in quality client with development client both are exactly matching.
Can anyone suggest to come over the issue?

Cancel GR on purchase order before inspection
Hello,
I face the following issue:
1) A reception was done on a purchase order, at the time a material was supposed to be receipt in quality stock.
Result -> 100 ST in stock Q
2) For the same material, an inspection type was added in QA08 for this same material, ticking the checkbox "activate despite inspection stock"
Result -> An inspection lot of standard inspection type "0800" was automatically generated, without any link to the purchase order
Now I would like to cancel the GR on purchase order but:
- I am not able to cancel goods receipt because of message QA495 "Change inspection stock in QM only".
- I am not able to cancel the inspection lot because this option is not possible in QA02.
- I am not able to deactivate the inspection category from the material because there is an inspection lot existing.
Can anybody propose a way out of this?

Issue in Canceling Inspection Lot-0500 inspetion type -
Dear QM team,
I am facing a issue as critical for resolving in the real time (production ticket) environment, because I am now in basic stage.
Issue: Client wants to Cancel the inspection lot for 0500 insp.type
Data available: 1.FG Material is activated with 0500 inspection type.(No '05 insp.tpye' activation along with 0500 insp.type in MM).
2.inspection lot created for the material with m.Document number..
3.In display of material document number showing 703 mvt type entry.
4.After so much of searching found it is linked with phy.Inv.document in MI03.(Phy Inv doc status as - Counted and Adjusted) / reason for diff is "Wrong entry -qty error.".Now Stock in QI with batch no.
5.Defference qty showing as 4200pc's in Phy.inv.doc.(MI03)
6.In Insp.lot QI stock is equal to above 4200pcs.(REL CALC SPCO)
Tasks done:Tried to cancel the lot with QA02- No result.(cancel field grey out),
Kindly help me How to cancel the inspection lot for 703 mvt? to resolve this ticket ,

Deletion of sampling procedure is not possible
Hi,
I am trying to delete a sampling procedure using QDV2 tcode. System issues message 'The sampling procedure cannot be deleted, as it is already used in an inspection plan'.
I checked in QDV6 tranaction 'Whereused list' for sampling procedure but ther eis no usage found.
I see in PLMK table . It displays assigned to a INspection Plan but deletion indicator is also on at the same time for this in Table PLMK..
How this samling procedure can be deleted?
