In our organization, we want to Block Invoice, if GR Inspection is Pending or Rejected. This functionality seems to be a standard one, but struggling to get this thing work for me. In QM configuration, I have created a Control key for Invoice Block. In QM view of Material Master, I have activated "QM in Procurement" and used this Control Key (for Invoice Block). The invoicing and payment is not automated. Is anything missing here?
I have peculiar problem.I have done GR for quality activated material.The lot is visible in QA32. Then i create the inspection plan & assign them in QA32. After assigning i click on the sample tab & click on calculator icon to calculate the sample,but the sample is not calculated.Then i go to Results recording tab & see the sample there the sample is calculated & showing.Here i am able to record results.I am 
why the sample is not calculated when the calculator icon is clicked but showing in RR screen?

Hi, I have setup a material with Inspection type 03 and when ever a production order is released a Inspection lot is created and it is in released status, it will be open until the Inspection sample get tested. My question is If i go ahead and close the production order before the Inspection sample result came to me for entering the result and make UD, will there be a issue. As far as I tested I closed the production order and later I took the lot and entered the result and made a UD for that lot. I have a doubt if this will be a issue at any point. Please let me know. I'm having this question because when a material is set up with Inspection type 03 and 04, it caused a error when closing the production order saying that they are open inspection lots.

We are using inspection lot origin as 89 for all manual inspection lot creation without any control on stock for one plant with number range 8900000001.
Now i want to create the same inspection lot origin as 90 with number range 9000000000001 to other plant. Is it possible since in config maintain inspection lot origin and assign inspection type there is no option to create the new inspection lot origin as 90.

One GR received and lot got inspected at Incoming quality.
Then how to trigger email automatically to concerned user responsible (like store, purchase, account, etc) that particular material inspected at IQC and available to proceed further.
Note: This notification is only regarding material inspection and available to proceed further at IQA not regarding material rejection or notification to vendor.
Kindly help me in the same.

Dear SAP Gurus,
We have a scenario of STO for one plant to other plant with in the same company code.
The process is being followed as follows ;
1. We create stock transfer by creating P.O thru ME21N
2. Create Outbound delivery thru VL10B
3. Doing PGI & Picking thru 'VL02N. Thru movement type '641'
The QM settings are as follows to trigger an inspection lot
1. Inspection lot origin '08' activated in MM.
2. Quality plan is defined and task list is released.
3. 'VL02N' is defined thru 'OMJJ' for movemrnt type '641'.
But while doing PGI no inspection lot is created.
Our requirement is to trigger a inspection lot and Invoicing / Billing only possible after inspection lot Approval.
Please advice.

Hi Gurus,
i have created a raw material with qm check 01 and assigned class type 23 . MIC also assigned to Characteristic, then i have maintaines Material Specification for this raw Material. after creating Purchase Order when i tried to do Goods Recipt it is Directly posting in to Blocked Stock(Movemet Type 103) actually it has to go to quality with movemet type 101.
it is not allowing me change the Movement type.
so can anybody Please Help me to understand and reslove this... it

System should restrict the creation of Inspection lot - "Inspection Type 01 - PO and GR based" for specific vendor as per plan.
Plan will be changed every month for the combination of parts and vendors in excel sheet, depending upon the performance of vendor.
Total no.of parts - 8000.
Total no. of Vendors - 800
For example -
(a) vendor 1 and Vendor 2 - Daily [ All days of a month]
(2) Vendor 3 and vendor 4 on every of every week.[ 4 or 5 times ]
(c) Vendor 4 and Vendor 5 on 1st and 15 th of every month [2 times]
(4) Vendor 6 and Vendor on 1st of every month [once]
Plan will be as per severity of Non Conformity - Rejection.
Please do the needful..
Dynamic Modification is a laborious process.
As per excel sheet plan, system should behave automatically.
It is not standard process.

As soon as defect is entered in result recording screen, system should generate SAP office mails for predefined user ids and external mail.
"Follow up action - MAIL" can be used for triggering sap office mail. How to assign the follow up action?
Is there any solution exist for external and internal triggering of mails?
Please suggest.

In QM Result Recording, as soon as defect is entered notification is created for the inspection type.
While processing the notification, part is sent to repair shop which can be achieved by action box.
Is it correct? Please confirm.
After receiving from repair shop, inspection is to be carried out.
If defect exists, defect is to be recorded.
Again it is sent to repair shop.
The same cycle may take place n number of times.
If repair shop does not skilled persons, this scenario is observed.
Client wants to record the every time defect and movements of specific part from notification [Shop Floor ] to repair shop and wise versa.
Ideally the movement must be one time, but some times the movements are 3 to4 times.
It reflects capability level of repair shop.
Requirement
How defect can be entered when part is inspected after repair - multiple times.?
How to capture the movements between shop floor and repair ?

I have done the necessary configurations for triggering followup actions after doing usage decision in the system like
and I would like to know why after these settings are made the followup action is not getting triggered in the field followup actionwhile doing UD after providing valuation code .
Is there any others settings i need to make after these is so please help me in getting this triggered

Hi Experts,
As per current process of GR making , we are doing GR against production order.
For example : 20 TON and 50 PCs
Now we are going to change the GR making process , hence GR will be done individual PCs wise but UOM will remain same.
At present inspection lot is getting genarate only one for that 20 TON and SAP batch is one , henceforth as per new GR process inspection lot will get generate individual PC wise (i.e 50 ) but UOM will remain same.
Now the requirement is to make result recording and taking usage decision and stock posting not possible practically for all 50 inspection lot
Per day Plant producing aroung 300 - 350 PCs , So practically not possible to make result recording and usage decision for all.
Is it possible to do collective result recording and usage decision through any enhacement or using user exit or any other way ??
Please advise the solution

Dear All,
User has entered wrong data in result in one year back in some of the lot.
Now we need to change result of some characteristic. It is possible to change ? Either thru some transaction or thru database table.
All inspection lots are about one year old. In material is also consumed.

Dear All,
While clearing inspection lot, we have given usage decision and the status got changed as UD ICCO SPCO whereas UD has not been recorded completely. So still the traffic signal shows in red color for that inspection lot.
In another case, for skip lots, lot status has been changed as UD ICCO SPCO QLCH where as UD has not been recorded completely in the system. Please guide me what will be the issue.
